The Word Goes Out

Art Series Statement

The Word Goes Out is a visual response to the power of words — not just spoken or written, but active, living, and deeply connected to the rhythms of nature. Inspired by Isaiah 55:8–12, this series explores the idea that what is spoken into the world does not disappear; it moves, it works, it transforms.

These artworks were created from a place of listening — to color, to texture, to light and movement in the natural world. They reflect the belief that beauty itself can be a kind of language, and that what comes from above doesn't return empty. Just as rain nourishes the earth, something spoken with intention can take root, flourish, and feed something beyond itself.

Rather than literal interpretations, these pieces are glimpses of the invisible through the visible. They hold the tension between mystery and clarity, silence and sound, doubt and belief.

This collection invites the viewer to experience the word of God as a living presence in the world, an unbroken flow of grace, creativity, and purpose.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
And do not return there without watering the earth
And making it produce and sprout,
And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth;
It will not return to Me empty,
Without accomplishing what I desire,
And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.”
For you will go out with joy
And be led in peace;
The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you,
And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
